'L'Alliance' celebrates Michael Clark's love of France and Scotland.
In 1990 Michael married Karen (they honeymooned in Bath) and settled in London. "After ten years living in London the desire for more space to accommodate three children and a large studio resulted in the move to Scotland. The Scottish paintings reflect his native Ayrshire: moody skies and a gentle landscape. Twenty-one years after that honeymoon in Bath the opportunity to exhibit with Bath Contemporary resulted in his latest exhibition 'L'Alliance.'
